ANNOUNCEMENT
BARBERSHOP MEETING FESTIVAL
’S-HERTOGENBOSCH
The Netherlands

On Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September 2015, ’s-Hertogenbosch, the burgundian, picturesque capital of the province of North Brabant, will for the 9th time now be the scene of the biennial International Barbershop Meeting Festival. It is the largest barbershop spectacle in Europe without any competition elements. Today the festival occupies a prominent place on the ‘s Hertogenbosch events calendar.

The festival starts on Friday evening with the ‘Champions Night 2015’. The best Dutch choruses and quartets will put in an exciting performance. The programme will also leave room for a foreign chorus and a quartet. There will be an admission fee for the concert.

Saturday will be dedicated to performances by choruses and quartets at beautiful scenic places in the city.
Also in response to the evaluation of the 2013 Festival, Saturday the focus will be on ‘meeting each other’ and ‘listening to each other’. Further specific details will be announced in later Newsletters.
All activities on Saturday are freely accessible to everyone.
The Friday-night concert and the official opening on Saturday will take place at the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center, a wonderful former church where you can admire some works of this provocative artist.
Unlike previous festival editions, choruses and quartets can now register for the event on Saturday 26 September 2015 online at our website:

Registration closes on 2 April 2015.

With barbershop greetings,
For the working party BOF
